 Autumn Flowers

Snapdragon

Snapdragon

Snapdragon - please refer to plant caretag for specific variety information

Colours - Rose pink, white, wine bi-color, yellow and mix.

Flowering period - Fall season.

Features - Strong-stemmed spikes are tightly packed with large "dragons" in many colours. Long lasting flowers are so profuse that they can hide the leaves at peak bloom. Very fragrant.

Spacing - Plant 6" to 18" apart (15 - 46 cm)

Height - Grows 6" to 36" tall (15 - 90 cm). Varies with variety.

Soil and water - Best in rich, well drained, neutral to alkaline soil, high in organic matter. Water as needed.

Light requirements - Plant in sun or part sun.

Best use - Use in beds, border, backgrounds and containers. Excellent cutting flower.

Growing tips - Fiber pots should not be planted in the ground. This plant has excellent frost tolerance. Once planted, pinch out the central flowerstalk. Snapdragons will bush out faster and produce multiple spikes instead of only a single stalk per plant.
