| Overwintering - Canna lily bulbs are tender in cold climates and will not overwinter. Dig them up in the fall before frost hits, or you can wait until after the first hard frost. The leaves should be cut off about 3" above the bulb, remove soil, and let the bulbs dry out for a few days in a shady, dry location. Dust them with a fungicide and place in a paper bag with some wood shavings or dry peat moss. Store them in a cool, dry place until spring. |
