Botanical name - Chlorophytum comosum.
Colors - Grown for its colorful foliage.
How to grow - Prefers medium light.
Features - Plantlets form on flowering stems.
Fertilizer - Add a slow release fertilizer like Osmocote into soil
prior to planting. Fertilize with a balanced fertilizer like 20-20-20
on a weekly basis if no slow release is used.
Soil - Moderately moist soil.
Size - Arching stalks 12" to 24" (30 - 61 cm) in length.
Tips - Treat as an annual in cooler climates.
Cool to moderate home temperature 55 to 70 degrees F (13 to 21 C).
Hardy to 45 degrees F (7 C). Prune to shape if needed.
Uses - Ideal for hanging baskets.
